75 years ago, on 6th and 9 August 1945, the atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. 65,000 people vaporized and burned to death on the spot, and by the end of the year more than 200,000 had died. These victims are a reminder to us to recognize the disastrous humanitarian consequences of nuclear weapons and to stand up for a world without nuclear weapons!
