On March 14th 2017 the Governor of Lower Austria, Dr. Erwin Pröll, handed out awards of the Province of Lower Austria to deserved persons in the great conference hall of the provincial parliament of Lower Austria.

In the presence of almost the whole provincial government (which had to decide about the awards), of the president of the parliament, the leaders of the parliamentary clubs, members of the parliament and many personalities of public life, the „Decoration of Honour in Silver for Services to the Province of Lower Austria“ was handed out to our president.

In the laudation the professional and social career of our president was mentioned as well as the achievement of the international recognition of the LAZARUS UNION as an „organization of Lower Austria“.

An ensemble of the Military Corps of Lower Austria arranged the musical background for this very worthy and unforgettable celebration.

Hereafter the guests were invited to the (almost legendary) lavish buffet. As guests of our president his wife Vera Steinhardt, Grandmaster Harry Tomek and his wife, MDC[1] Reinhard Graf and his wife, the Vice President of the LAZARUS UNION Chev. Ludwig Brunner and Mrs. Gertrude Liska took part in this ceremony.
