2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals and Disaster Reduction meeting in Roma

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a collection of 17 global goals set by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015 for the year 2030. The SDGs are part of Resolution 70/1 of the United Nations General Assembly, the 2030 Agenda. The Corpo Italiano di San Lazzaro organized a public meeting in Rome about the connections among SDGs and disaster reduction, on 24th May 2019, mainly targeted to high school and university students. The meeting was kindly hosted in the Conference Room of the Headquarters of the City of Rome Police, and was included among the events of the “Week for Sustainability” (ASVIS national events calendar).
